Ingredients:
Aloe Vera Gel: Acts as the base; it's natural, gentle, and has a pH similar to that of the body.
Distilled Water: To adjust consistency.
Flaxseed: Rich in natural oils and can be used to create a gel-like consistency.
Vitamin E Oil: Natural preservative and skin-soothing agent.
Optional: Essential Oils for fragrance (like lavender or chamomile), but be cautious as some can be irritating.
Equipment:
Saucepan
Strainer
Bowl
Whisk or spoon
pH test strips
Sterilized container for storage
Instructions:
Prepare Flaxseed Gel:
Boil 1 cup of water and add 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds.
Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the water takes on a gel-like consistency.
Strain the mixture, keeping the gel and discarding the seeds.
Mix with Aloe Vera:
